Zelenskyy orders new Russia refinery attacks in Trump rebuke
Moscow has continued attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure and civilian targets over the last few days leading to a mounting death toll.
beachcomber 23 hours ago To both Trump and Musk …. From Cape Town –   1   5 Log in to Reply   beachcomber 22 hours ago …. that should read Glory to Ukraine! But anyway, to analyse the article with economic data and historical facts: “Trump, in an interview that aired Thursday evening with Newsmax, said he’s “not a big fan of Zelenskyy,” reiterating that he wants both the Ukrainian leader and Putin to stop firing at each other’s countries.” In March 2023, he said: “Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settled … and it will take me no longer than one day.” And as we all know, it continues. “Now, if you tell me that Zelenskyy is again shooting at refineries, all he’s doing is making the world oil price higher, and he is doing that, well, I think that’s a disgrace,” Trump said. However… Brent crude was about $60 per barrel at the close on 31 December 2025. As of today, Friday 16 October 2026, Brent crude oil is trading at approximately US$105 per barrel. So even though there was an ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine 6 months ago, the oil price remained on an even keel. But … According to the World Bank, Brent crude rose by approximately 65% during March 2026, an increase of about US$46 per barrel, following the outbreak of the Middle East conflict and the near-total disruption of shipping through Hormuz. So yet again we, the consumers and investors, suffer because of the intransigence, folly and hubris attributable to one man, Donald Trump. Plus …. Every gallon of diesel used in the USA is now laced with the blood of innocent Ukrainian women and children. Beyond sickening that he blames Zelensky.   5   4 Log in to Reply   Kasper 21 hours ago I am sure the most powerfull Alphas on the planet are not to worried about your post…   3   1 Log in to Reply
