NNPC has signed a 12-month offtake agreement for 300,000 bpd, with the remainder earmarked for export to Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal under government-to-government deals.
The pump price of petrol in Lagos fell 22% in the week following the announcement, offering the first meaningful relief to motorists since the removal of fuel subsidies.
